Death to Die

26 March 2006

Today was death to die
this time to bid farewell
For what was life worth
an element of desecration to dust

As to Romeo and Juliet
poison to the graze of a knife
Wrists bleeding - drop by drop
no Gwyneth to openly love

Her eyes the shadow
yesterdays love locked away
Neither with a key
or a moment to turn undone

Death - darkness - no more pain
soft - a body void of flesh to bare
Tears from eyes moist
never to know tomorrow

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3: 16 KJV
