A river flows
Slowly deeply
Under an iron bridge

The muddy colored water
Swirls in circles
Among green lily pads
Under the shadows
Of summer leaves

On the slope of a hill near the shore
A wooden house in disrepair
Its siding gray with age

Once upon a time
Many years ago
There was a beautiful girl
