Lust What is love? Is it one of those nothing words or does it have so much meaning that you cannot explain it. I use love when I am IN love, that fantasy that we all have, when I’m head over heals, like the world has stopped for me, as if all the ripples in the sea are forming just for us two. As if the world is in total ore of ME. The only trouble is that I don’t believe that some love is possible and the loving I’m talking of only lasts a while and then it’s gone. I believe it’s like your 15 minutes of fame. The only problem is that I’ve never felt this kind of love as I have not yet experienced it and so I can not explain it to you. But I will tell you this, when my 15 minutes come I will make them last more than ever because we all crave it so much. And if I do get to experience it, I will write pages and pages of beautiful poetry on it. But then, what if it never comes, maybe it is just one of those fantasies that this world is incapable of. I hope not. |

Don't you worry - your love will come. And it will last longer than 15 minutes if it is true love. I don't know how young or old you are, but I know being patient for love to come is not easy - but you just wait because it will eventually glide by your way and sweep you off your feet. Love is... a beautiful emotion that makes us feel we are one with the universe, our skies bluer, our grass is greener and that special person appears everywhere, in our thoughts, in our dreams, at work, at leisure even though we are miles apart...and this beautiful emotion... finds us sooner or later... touching us and permeating our lives but sometimes when you are reflecting, it seems as if it was indeed only fifteen minutes (~_*) You see what you have done with your beautifully written words, evoking so much passion and feelings.....uh huh, you definitely made me think... |

Sure glad I stopped in! Questions, questions, always asked about that wonderful beast, love. Hm... you have me thinking. Is it one of those things that lasts only for short spell? I don't think so. However, I think there is something to "Distance (time and mileage) makes the heart grow fonder." When being in a relationship over a period of time, the 'magical enamoured feeling' may seem to dissipate, but I find it can also grow as trust does. Interesting quandry! With a curiouis spirit like I think you have, I believe you will have many opportunities to experience the wonders of love. Enjoyed your write. miscellanea |

Curiouse ... You can't order love like you can a hamburger, (would be nice eh?)lol ... Still, what we call love, does come in it's own time. We can't call upon it and expect it to come running, lol ... Love is elusive, and exists for it's own sake, and is very precious to find it true. What is love? Love is what we make it. Love is humble, love is kind .. it does not boast .. love is not for selfish means, but giving selflessly. You can not own it, but only give it freely... Love is like a River, ever flowing, never to be damed up, always free flowing, natural, never controlled. Remember to stay open and be loving. If you become love, and share it with others through caring deeds, the waiting for a mate, won't seem so very far. |
