My love has grown like the sunflowers in his garden
And on a blue black night, with spirals yellow, white
His warmth  on cool entwines me
He reminds me

           Flowers grow, love rain or snow
           Segments of line we live
           Impressions of beauty or sadness
           Little bits we give.

Spiraling whites on starry nights
With life on soil hardened;
When drought was caked with stumbling doubt,
washed tears he watered garden
Then rose and sang his paint to me
Look what life’s about!

           Flowers grow, love rain or snow
           Segments of line we live
           Impressions of beauty or sadness
           Little bits we give.

               ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Lyrics and music dedicated to my husband for all of his patience, love, and inspiration.  I can think of no better way to share with him my feelings than through the paint of the master, Vincent Van Gogh.  Although he found turbulence in his life, he also, saw beauty.  Cheers to the beauty.)
Miscee
"He arose and sang his paint to me
Look what life’s about!"
I'm sure he loved this song you painted to him, for the same reason.  I know I did!
"He painted for me sunflowers in hardened garden
When his doubt was caked with others drought"
That picture really struck me. It so many ways, that's what I try to do, painting sunflowers in spite of my doubt.
El Campeador,
     Planting sunflowers seems like a healthy thing to do.  It's a pleasure to see planters like yourself.
Your husband should be very very pleased with this dedication.
One of the most exquisite pieces I have read in a long while.
