This Foolish Heart Of Mine

Writing how I am feeling
It gives emotional release
Hoping down the track
My mind shall find peace

I shall shed painful tears
Somehow it helps to write
Healing shall take time
It never happens overnight

As I undergo the healing
Each day I shall continue
Pausing along the way
I still feel lost without you

This foolish heart of mine
Feeling hurt I cannot deny
You left me to languish
Many times I will ask why
