Your eyes
no longer entrance
my very being
you no longer
slither
between
waking dreams
and aching
growing pains
I can laugh
now...
Couldn't
bring myself
to let you go
before
not
until
now...
I thought
I knew you
but
who was
I kidding
you never really
know
I won't
hold
onto
the bitterness
of disappointment
I've come
to terms
that
it's meant to be
took me
a lifetime
to realize this...
I'm finally
getting the
hang of this...
finally
learning
how
to live
my life
without
the panic attacks
you've
caused me...

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

Oh, Kristen.....it does take us awhile to heal.  I feel this soul-speak.  I hope you get stronger every day.   .....jo

Very good.
When I hear
my thoughts
speak thus,

...

...

I usually
decide
to hide
between
time...

Well done,

my friend.

I too feel this soul-speak, in this well crafted poem!

it is never the same for any of us...we each need that time, to come to terms with life's disappointments...but in the end, after much self exploration, we find we are better for journey...hugs to you
