It was there; just waiting, hoping, behind the day, sighing, impatiently bored, awaiting something new. The trees stood silently, sleeping softly, in no hurry to waken, they had been here before. But a period of cold discomfort whistled around, keeping the contentment of warmer days and bright nights in the doubtfull distance of days still to come. Desire for nothing except desirelessness,hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes, want nothing and you will have everything.avatar Meher Baba. your poem is stron and an enjoyment to read. i specifically like the line "The trees stood silently, sleeping softly" very good alliteration right there |
