Unable To Break Through

I had written continually
Yet you never wrote back
Which only proves to me
Its feelings you must lack

I ask how you had been
Yet you still refuse to say
Silence seemed to prove
Feelings journey one way

I had kept my heart open
Yet I am hurting obviously
Was it worth me asking
Why you apologise to me

I hoped to keep in touch
Yet it seems to be in vain
Unable to break through
Since being ignored again

I questioned your silence
Yet I reached a dead end
Writing got me nowhere
I failed in whatever I send

sometimes I think it is better to just remain casual friends, Hope...that seems to last longer than becoming more involved, especially if a long distance relationship or on line...one never knows the behind the scenes of another's life which may keep them from communicating.
