Randy’s Wake

Each year my Randy Dragon wakes
To quell the roomers of my death
To stretch my wings and sooth my aches
And light the candles with my breath

I stay the day await the night
To catch some wishing fire flies
Then spread my wings and take to flight
To catch the light in dreamers sighs

They fill the night with wails and moans
That guides me like a magnets pull
With calls that warm a dragons bones
And pull a snort from any bull

They stay a cornucopia
Where shadows dance upon the wall
A symptom of myopia
And dance to music’s mental call

Here the candelabra’s burn
The very wax of dreamers yearn

Fanciful! You draw pictures in the sky sir, but tell me... is there perhaps a small play on words in this piece?

Sy,

Very cool write indeed...the rhyming on this was absolutely magnificent! Your ability to weave words into something much more never fazes to amaze me!

Take care,

The Spectacular Seymour and the Amazing Randy are both unequaled in the casting of their spells.  I am always entranced.
