I loved it! It is rare that you see such a good poem that plays with shapes so well!

You've sown your words seeds beautifully down the page.

May they blossom into fragrant flowers with the coming of spring!

Because of your location,
and the theme of your poem,
I am wonderfully reminded of Dee,
and how she enjoyed her garden and all,
every year, every spring,
she would call and complain of the work,
and yet every fall and every winter,
the catalogs filled her home,
of some hope for the next season.

She also knew that in order to see
the beauty, she'd have to ignore
the thorns, and accepted them, as she
did so many things, as a fact of life.

Excellent presentation, Vicky.

Thank you for bringing my sister back to me,
if for only a moment.

Vicky~
You know I like it ...
and understand the need of this word-seed~

I would gather the seeds of your sowing,
treasuring the fragrance in a new garden,
planted where the roots would take hold and
remain, foreverly~
