I'm sorry if this is a bit...chaotic...I've had a lot to say, without the words to say it with. ___________________________________________________ flowing, floating moving with my feet but not my head not my head the song is turning into static and my voice is cracking take one step take one step keep going you're doing great don't let this cliff fool you you can walk on air you are a god don't let those words fool you you are immortal who needs to live when you have a lifetime to do it you're not making any sense smarten up kid this is your time to shine all I see is a fizzle where a spark should have been move the speaker closer so you can lose your hearing but everything is still coming in crystal clear because the ringing in your ears doesn't make a truth a lie only you can do that get to the point you're nothing but words what are you trying to say I hate that you have the ears but I don't have the voice I don't have the heart |

I can completely understand this poem, believe it or not. I have these conversations in my mind from time to time and I am 37. I don't think there is anybody that doesn't have these kinds of conversations go on in their heads from time to time. You are not going crazy - it is normal - a part of routine life. I know this because I've had 2 counsellors tell me so, and because they do it too. A great write even if you think it sounded crazy. Sheri Adams Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |
