First not seen, but heard
Footsteps, the wings of vanishing voices
Recordings in the basement
Of an empty museum I watch over
For no one but myself

The feeling shy as it was alive
The song of birds
An echo, decades old
Love, of a feather
The small birds have flown

South of winter
Down behind the stars
At once in the mirror
Midnight and the sea
Silent, seen from afar

Thoughts, as misshapen as the clouds
Contours, as vague as hopes
The colors cannot last
A strange emptiness
Drifting back against the wind

IntoTheRain, I am breathless, in awe (of your poem - when I have come down to earth again, I will be in awe of you and your ability too), basking in the sensitivity, vibrance and magic that your paintbrush paints.  When I have the time and airtime, I will certainly be hunting down all the poems you have posted, and I hope that there will be many more.

You write quietly...
with very little sound...
but those who enjoy such poetry
will always search you out.

Well done, Sir.

These images are beautiful. Thank you for sharing them with us.
