Tolerance for a short time

Was it 49, going on 6
When we smiled
Was it stupid
When we looked at a stile and we wern't talking animals but people
Was sometime ago when we built the skills that dont pay politicians
Was it some time ago
That someone as a Leader
Had all we had worked for

And their prescence

Voted by us

Mattered more than us

Yes I did vote

For

someone I consider a criminal
Someone I consider a liar
Someone who has destroyed

All I felt for
All I worked for

All I now realised

That they

Didn't give a damn
