when the gods bring flame to my breast
by hope in dreams, by hook of quest
i hear a familiar place, of amber moon wings
that apollo, fleeting in night dreams
oh go, go, my secret store
the ageless power of  faulse hopes
be free to fly night sky of light
forget the burden of your crimes
for recoiling, thwarting 2nd life…
a chance for a murdered child
stained by chanting rain
of unwilling soul
your revenge unscaved
tired hours become sacrfice, a monarch
saffron visions, that know not lies
nor steal a heart of belief
of denial of a soul on fire
i walk the crages that i most fain
capturing arrows pointing the pain
bending knee to knee
bleeding, bleeding

moaning to claim a fruitful prayer
for them…for me…for love of fair
both bittersweet and sadly there
inbedded deep in community
in every life that takes breath
the ripple effect
their touch of conditions holding hands
with darkness…mocking deity
no place in their opulant rooms of motto
grasping love, that vanishes
my appollo is my animus
alive inside
i shall receive again, again
i shall…on bended knees
to hail the life that doubles my hands
unfolding the fists of war
let me know pain
know fear
know impatience
so that i may always know change
and the veins of
richness
humble me in thy hardest rain
raise me to that child...
allow me many visions in one word
so that good questions grow
let my woman know the man of feelings
and the cupping hands of those left behind

turn my head, give me vision
to know the heart of my decissions
let me truly feel where life goes

let me truly feel where life goes

I think this every morning, Lee

~ May the Universe hear your "fruitful prayer" so fervently expressed.

By beseeching the faulted hours, we see clearly that time gives rise to change.
All happiness LeeJ.  Awesome write.

"Nothing escaped the jellyfish,
that terror from seas where whales can't live
(he could kill sharks by grabbing their tails
and neither refusing nor consenting to give).

Oh go home, you terrible fish;
let sea be sea and rock be rock.
Go back wishy-washy to your sheltered bay,
but let me live definite, shock by shock."

from At The Chairman's Housewarming,
