Odd

I dreamt of you in minds embrace
Ferment within illusions space
Thoughts entwined in shuttle rhyme
Planned each moments subtle time

We met within a low lit club
Magic potions wet the grub
Browsed among the rainbow light
Music filled our hearts delight

We opened up the options door
And tangoed on the dancing floor
Where mood and movement bent the seem
And mellow feel sewed up the dream

We leaned into the fantasy
Weaving movement’s ecstasy
Swayed naïve in moods believe
Arms and legs beyond conceive

Captured by the fleet of charm
Sleeps embracing full disarm
Where mind can reach its ends content
Without realities consent

It is a way that I pursue
But truth, it may not work for you

"We leaned into the fantasy
Weaving movement’s ecstasy"

And the hits just keep on coming! I could dance to this one too!

And sometimes it seems we dance to the rhythm of life without our own consent but who can decry such a wonderful jive that leads to the new and untried?  Loved dancing to your words.

For the record, the dang alarm always messes
up mine...usually at just the right moment.
How does it know?

Thanx Sy,  good to see someone else has
those dreams that make us want to "play it
again, Sam".....

Sy...I believe I just found my favorite by you! Your meter and rhyme in this piece are simply flawless and I love your choice of words
