Those cold words that stitched me dreaming
Cuckold in another’s thoughts
Swept me lustwards past deceiving
And down into remorse

An ancient art the twist of weaving
Untruths from a lover’s breast
The needle stings the weft of wedding
And leaves me darned instead

The fleece of darkness silky silent
Wraps me lonely in it’s arms
A counterpane of gone forever
A cradle for my bones

Awww! you leave me bleeding with the stitches.  You write such art to carry your reader on pen point into the depths of your words.  My heart is stuck in my throat!
