Between the Lines

Left to my own resources,
I am saddened always
learning the unknown
that threatens my existence.

Powerful words between the lines
and above and even resting on them,
enough to kill my flights of fancy
that I use to look forward to.

Maybe my time is past
and I am meaningless...
o n e by o n e
eating m&m's wondering if
the chocolate will suffice for today

or will I have to go in search for more...

m

Life's made of moments we get through somehow, on the way to moments that get through us all too quickly.....don't worry, they won't melt in your hand....and they're all yours....look for the M on each piece.

Remember, if something is bound and determined to take you out, it will eventually succeed, despite any one edeavor to the contrary. After having coming to terms with this, and accepting that that's just the way it is, life becomes strikingly clarified, and more sacred in just about every way.
And M&M's still taste as sweet.
