Two Hands of Soul

15 December 2005

In those hours of love
sleep parts a place to cross
To know she cannot be held
her flesh unable to feel in strength
If only there was a way
this path to truly do as we like
However what would it prove
of fantasia in an angelica of heart

Her spoken word - his kindness seen
both a unity of opposites untangled
Where on paper much could be wrapped
to see more that was there in light to shine
For love was physical
emotional inside to contemplate
a form of communication
An outburst of soul
the world no longer small
Yet two hands unable to clasp
in turning the key in heart

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3: 16 KJV

  A very poignant poem!

Those pit falls of kindness, divided by an ocean - or distance.

When wanting nothing more than to hold her in physical comfort.

Yet unable to do do, because she was in Canada and New Zealand was not just down the street

The world made small through on line communication

A poet who cares, nevertheless unable to care in ways of having her near to hold

When in truth that poem is now published and she has a copy of the book.

At least in a physical way, she can hold and read the book, in absorbing the spirit from those pages inside.
