Shall I this, Lord or shall I that?
What will you ask of me?

A question posed in bent knee earnest
then quickly followed by a silence
weighted heavy with hurry up,

but no answer is quickly forthcoming
and the silence now seems to have
taken over.

Lord, shall I leave?
Is there nothing You need
of me?

Trust Me.
are the words I hear
as clearly as if they were spoken.

I halt my imperative inquisition and
one step I take, my faith
leaning heavily on the fact
that direction doesn’t matter
when your path is guided.

You are far, far ahead, you know....it took Moses 80 years to figure that out (and only then after being beaten over the head with a burning branch), and another 40 years to get something done about it.

my dear friend, it has been awhile because your muse was waiting on just the perfect moment, to find the perfect words...

and oh how very very beautiful those words are, and if you only knew how just today, I was praying I would see something from you....

Indeed, I  know that there are angels here when they are needed most.....
