Rewrite:

What ever Is

As morning light puts out the night
And dew drops shower early morn
I rub the dreams out of my sight
And watch the golden shafts of dawn

I listen to the wind instead
Whispering most the early noise
The birds nearby that have not fled
The ones that watch and wait in poise

I smell the odor of new birth
The flowers lifting up their heads
The seeds that burrow through the earth
The perfume that the breeze has spread

I feel the power of the sun
The chill is gone the warmth is here
I think on all this life begun
And weigh my thoughts of interfere

What makes me think I’m fine chambray?
Above all other earth’s gourmet

Sweet man... you are one of the treats life gives us... and we are grateful! *S*

This is beautiful!! *S* Reading it took me out of this dreary cubicle... and into appreciation for the bounty each day holds. *S*

I don't know what this looked like before the editing, but it's a beauty now!

Seymour,

Let me tell you what. I don't mean to sound like a rapper, but you know how to rock it out. Like you said:

The chill is gone the warmth is here

But you're still chillin. Nice one as usual. Cheers    - Ed

Seymour...Pure poetry from a great poet. Your words go beyond describing the coming of a new day, they paint such a vivid picture that the reader envisions. Thanks for sharing your vision with us...Paul
