The Mystery Side Of You

I have tried everything
Yet I cannot get through
It has made me realise
The different side of you

Where was the person
The one I thought I knew
What of the other side
That is hidden from view

You have left memories
That I shall always value
Someone in your past
Was still thinking of you

Not one word is uttered
While silent times ensue
Would there always be
That mystery side of you

Dear Hope, I believe there is the mystery side of us all, the one that does not talk, but watches, who calculates and schemes, who wishes for change and the chance of, the quiet true self, who is shy but strong, faithful yet desiring more. They only come out when pushed and passed a limit that is unknown.
