Out, beyond the garden gate
To where the wild seeds grow
Winter’s shoreline melts away
That dingy crust of snow

The buds, an early peeking
Have all been pruned away
While beneath fresh bed of humus
The garden’s future lay

Amazing! When all considered
This season of the year
From death to new life springing
Nature’s bounty, nearly here!

A delightful poem that has put some 'spring' in my step!

"Out, beyond the garden gate
To where the wild seeds grow"

Feels like spring to me! Excellent!

She's peeking, she is...
between storms...
