The Whirlwind

The whirlwind left me high and dry
The valley of a muted sigh
Where silver moonlight fell like snow
And shadows weaved a dance of woe

Where phantoms roved in wayward seek
A path of wasted time and bleak
To find a spirits afterglow
That once had lived in sunshine flow

A journey back into the past
A journey of a mental cast
A search into the apple core
To find once more the gardens door

But cobwebs slowed the go to naught
No matter how the phantom fought
And time and space has closed the grid
Beyond his prayer of God forbid

This whisper flows throughout the earth
A whirlwind that affects all birth

Good afternnonn, Sir Sonneteer! I know what you mean about those ding dang whirlwinds! They can whisk you away from La La Land to Blah Blah Land in the blink of an eye!

Here is some happy sunshine for you!
