hovering sighs of a woman
bubbling tender green time,
dripping rich in the veins
lineage, moist with rose flush
thrashing towers, winking like happy gossip
on a mission
swims, the old days
stretching out in all directions
beyond my window
being faithfully here
in unique rhythmic production
mending bones that had been so
long broken, by forest grizzly’s

everything grows over old battlefields
where shadows run across time
illuminated by arms firmly nailed to
a forever oak, waiting on the threshold
of prayer gypsies…someone intimate
like hidden music, nobody knows
whispering the jasmine of solitude

like the sun coming up
wherein morning owns clandestine
proof, where I am willing
to risk everything I own

like a newly waxed floor, without the mop
there would be longing to shine
feeling the ocean moving through my soul
my heart and mind
contagiously becomes intrinsic art
reflecting beauty, in all forms
within a spiritual home town carnival
where all is round and open
and I am in love with the dew moisture
of this circle of ambition
metaphysical nuance and this eternal
cup of wine full of fire and ice
inbetween I drown

it is so good to be teased by the grain of enthusiasm
and so, I ride the pounding hoofs of morning secrets
with the dawn people and their teachers

Lee, your writing is so profound and always moves me.  Sometimes, I believe we share the same mirror.     Well done gal.

I love the way your thoughts come to light, the gentle waves of spirit healing and dispelling shadows of the heart. It also makes me look forward to the sunny mornings of spring and blue sky, and earth awakening with bud and bloom.  Thank you for sharing those loely nuances.

Good morning, Lovely Lee! Your pen dances on point like a ballerina!

"I ride morning secrets of pounding hoofs

This makes me think of our friend, Liz and her dancing ways.  You are lovely, Lee!!

The first line really grabbed me and then there was this:

"and I am in love with the dew moisture
of this circle of ambition
metaphysical nuance and this eternal
cup of wine full of fire and ice
in between I drown"

Great work Lee.

LeeJ.,

These lines stopped me in my tracks!  They are stunning!
