On A Journey To The Unknown

A Brighter Tomorrow

The troubles seem too many, yet
I continue to struggle on
It wouldn't be so bad, if only
I didn't have to do it alone

There are those times, when I
Feel like just giving up
But, I am not one to give in
Even though it seems too rough

Everyday, I make myself rise
To face another day
Hoping that in the day that passed
Is where my troubles will stay

Sometimes, my life is filled with
So much fear inside
That all I want to do is to lay down
And do nothing, but cry

That isn't what I do, though
I continue to struggle through
Because, I tell myself
Tomorrow is one brand new

Although the sun doesn't shine
Tomorrow, it may shine brighter
And, once again my life may be
A whole lot happier

So, each and everyday I wake
I rise to face another day
Hanging on to the hope
My life will then be okay

Your life will be better than okay. Each day is new, and it is our chance to start over, erase mistakes, have a clean slate. I have learned lately, that looking back just hurts my neck. I think you already knew that.

So good to read you again Sue.
You have come so far, and each day brings with it opportunity that is vast.  Patience is the most difficult trial that we humans face.  Loved this one.

Sue, I want you to know that you are never alone in the battle of facing tomorrow.
Some days, it is much easier than others,

We all have rough times, Sue, but not everyone has the right attitude to see them through! It is a blessing that you do. Keep your chin up.
