Carnal Vista

The tender trappings of romance
Seek in vicarious purr the soft spots
By pillow moan majesty, falls far and away
The echo of night wind, blushing cliff face
Lost in tinted caverns of a desert morn

Sing beneath my feet the sands of white
Beating hoof runs the steadfast from my blood
Meeting fate without pretension, ears pitched forth
My lathered breast turned up to the sun
But spooked in the waves of a thousand hands
To turn loose in bolt, and run the forest trails

Pausing at the faintest edge of understanding
Scenting clover sweet, to feed my belly
Abysmal, the blanket of shade upon green meadow
Walks me warily in the dandelion dotted field
Sugar cubes entice the smile on guard
And should he try to tame me, raised up my heart
To run

TD~  You paint by words so well, and your ending is the final brush stroke
that captures and completes such magnificent scenery~

As always~

A sincere comment is the way you weave, entice...spellbind the reader with your

It would be a shame to see a wild and free spirit tamed. Run like the wind! :-)
