Like sweet waters of Jennifer
on an ocean of dreams
Where beauty meets a mother
her spirit all heart to savour

In joy her soul does address
serendipity a risk taken to walk
Sheathes gathered in ways of kin
deep fear diverted into being true

For what will be - was
sadness to others ponder
Smart to yesterdays blues
happiness her love to endure

Sweet waters of Bethany
her Oklahoma home
Water sweet in
Jennifer by name
