So much time has passed
My heart has had time to heal
It took a crash landing to make me see
Now though, I feel the pain and hapiness-both are very real

I think I've lost my words though
I lost my poet's edge-the emotion harder to find
It's still there though
Tucked away deep inside

So much has changed
I am no longer who I use to be
Time and distance has made me who I am now
Time allowed me to heal...somehow

I think about my life
All that I've done wrong and right
Truthfully I have few regrets
I just wish when it came to someone certain-I knew how to fight

What would I say though?
There's nothing left to do
I've healed...FINALLY
Now I can say goodbye to you.

Time goes by so slowly,
and time can do so much.

Love that song, and it's so true if we are lucky enough
to find our peace at last.  Be good to yourself, Amy~

Well said..I've been here and though the process is painful, after healing, life does indeed go on. Enjoyed this Amy.
