Like moments immersed in the powers of thyme,
I am surrounded by the essence of you,
a scented sense of reality
captured in the oils that cling.
Your portrait hangs on a wall
where you shall never see it,
staring down at me each day
reminding me of the moment
you turned and walked away.

I’ve decided it’s time...
time to repaint
that canvas in a new reality.
Today, the gesso shall hit,
and what’s left of you
shall be deposited into
a bank of hidden memory.
I shall move forward,
into a sage moment.

Kacy

"I shall move forward,
into a sage moment."

I hope this will be a good step for you....it seems positive to me.

There is so much to read between the lines here.
How bittersweet, the moment you write of~

So I had to look up gesso

From thyme [of presence] to
sage [of wisdom] you
continue to impress one
with your skills...

which I imagine have been
heated by a certain fire
that will never be
extinguished.
