Lurking

Metro

Steel teeth waves
descend,
falling into
subterranean depths.
chill breath
from its black hole
a rattle and a roar
from wyrm to worm
it lurches on
squeezed through earth
of cold stone tunnels
till it flies across the river.

Miserable Static

as a big fan of ginsberg, kerouac and bob dylan, i love this writing style. great poem, although i didn't get the one line "from wyrm to worm"
