woke up early
this morning and
read for an hour
then wrote poetry
for two.

cooked an egg-white
omelet with
mushrooms and red peppers and
onions for breakfast.

went to the gym
at noon and stretched
muscles and tendons
and ligaments.

studied green algae
genetics after my evening
bath and went to bed
early.

was tired,
the night before I drank
two bottles of wine and
drove home
drunk.

SDR~
Welcome to PiP~

Not overly fond of the idea of having you
on my streets after the wine binge
... but hope you will enjoy your stay here in poetry land~

Really enjoyed this.
Although, I don't agree with drinking and driving. Still, very interesting.

I found that very amusing.

Not so much the content, but that you placed a list of daily events into verse. that's brilliant, and funny.

Interesting slant....and a great read.

But you might want to call a cab next time.
