I can feel your existence
within me
I have not seen your face
nor touched your skin
yet you have always been a part of me
hiding within my soul
and dancing in my eyes

sometimes, I can almost
touch you -
can feel your breath
lingering
perhaps I am too late
and you had just been there -

but only the mocking wind remains...

so I confront him
face to face -
but that impetuous wanderer
remains tight-lipped
and steals away,
nonchalantly typing
cryptic clues
on the blades of grass...

that prankster

just to think
that is all that stands
between
you
and
me

So often true, alas.

That was highly visual, well flowing, and awe inspiring, I thought.

Nice work.
