Like the wilting leaves
in September's glaring sun,
another love is dying
even though it's just begun.

An echo whispers dying...
even though it's just begun.

Who's at fault? No matter;
I had to let her go.
How could I hold such beauty?
How can she ever know?

An echo whispers beauty...
you have to let it go.

The night cannot hold beauty:
The starlight shines on through.
Autumn trees free beauty,
as each falling leaf must know.

An echo whispers beauty...
You had to let her go.

it's not always easy letting go, but letting go is also a part of love we folks seem to forget at times.

Hugs to you

We all have to let go at times, and it's painful, but it's something we have to do. Good work, Kathy!

When one hears such tune,
one must put it to art.
So says the soul.

"It's not something I want, it's something I know,if I really love you, I have to let you go." A line from a song I wrote. When I read this poem I so wanted to share it but I can't jepordize the copyright at this point. Loved It Kathy! :-)
