A woman is as a woman does
A woman lives as a woman loves

She's not the head or even the toe
She's the half to make you whole

Not your slave, not your queen
But your equal in every scene

Love her, respect her, treat her well
For delicate is the soul within her shell

Beauty fades as age takes it apart
So seek out and fall for the heart

Wow, this is wonderful. You speak the truth with such sincerity. I live with my mom and two sisters so I can relate to these words.

And I am happy to see that you homeschool your kids; I've been homeschooled since first grade. I am really grateful that my mom has done that for me and you should be commended as well. Cheers   - Ed

I love this. It's wonderful.

Thank you.  I was just feeling a little awry when I wrote this.  Too many places and too many people view women as objects to possess and control.

Too many women not knowing their worth or their place.  Always trying to compete with the little "hottie" next door.

I guess menopause is taking it's toll
