Oh Mother Nature,
listen as we chant and sing

release the breath of lilacs early
please, do not wait for spring

oh, mauve scented beauties,
we must send your healing scent
into the Canadian winds

~to help heal an Angel~

we shall wrap them with our heartstrings
send them aloft alongside a chant,
for our Earth Angel asks only for
a great healing force,
never cries a complaining rant

please, please,
Mother Nature

do not wait for spring

release the scents of lilacs today
so we may send them on their way
to comfort and help heal
Passion's Earth Angel

One might think it's a little early for lilacs but I believe all things are possible for we who believe.  I shall continue in my prayers for Linda.   Danny

Kacy, this was marvelous writing, evoking continued prayers for light to find Linda and consume her with great power to heal her.

Loved this and she will to.

Kacy, dear poetess and friend ~ Bless you! Bless you! Bless you!

The scent of lilacs has been filling my room ~ and now I know where it has been coming from!

This poem is a piece of poetic perfection and I appreciate it beyond words.

As one can well imagine, this is most assuredly being tucked away into my trove of poetic treasures.

I am also touched my the warm responses that your "chant" has received!

With love,
Linda

I take it things are going ok for now?
And your candle will be relit again tonight, to keep that lovely healing scent wafting your way! Take care, Pips Angel!

Midnitesun, A beautiful poem for a beautiful person. I read the link above and was saddened to find our Earth Angel was so sick. I believe in miracles and if I had one I couldn't think of a more worthy person than Linda to give to. Maybe we can talk The Good Lord into seeing it our way. God Bless :-)

Kacy,
I'm not too sure about chanting but I do believe the lilacs would be a wonderful gift of healing.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

(big angel comfort hugs) Oh Kacy, your poem is soooooooo comforting and poignant that I swear I could smell hints of lilac aroma in the air as I was reading this, as many of your wonderful poems evoke anything from the northern lights in your living room to the dove of peace on your balustrade! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, and God Bless You Linda and know you are in all our healing thoughts and we send heart hugs your way each moment, we all love you so much! You have such  a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Shocked to hear the news, have replied to her in the link.  Thank you for letting us know and for your beautiful, compassionate poem.  I will keep praying as hard as I can.  If anyone can recover fully from all of that, it is Earth Angel.

Kacy, I would like to thank you once again for this loving gift. Your talent is as huge as your heart ~ and that is saying a great deal!

I would also like to thank those who have responded so wonderfully to Kacy's fine piece of writing and for your kind words for me as well.

Love and Light to all!
Linda
