Look Upon The Inside

Able to be strengthened
Flexible it shall bend
When I feel heartbroken
It takes awhile to mend

Took a lifetime growing
Each day it is there
Tangled on heartstrings
Amongst wear and tear

If its sunken emotionally
Words cease to flow
Still I find inner strength
By returning with a glow

The only heart that I own
I needed to be writing
So look upon the inside
I am fragile and exciting
