That’s Cool

Riding high the wave I missed.
Somewhere in my minds gray matter,
as in a dream of fine mist and sea foam…
(I do know my way to the beach,
but only because the waves carry me there).

Now tasting the loneliness of not being there, with you.
Wondering if that, at least, might have mattered…

A world gone mad in a lost life,
which at best, is now shattered…

Wilderness, forests, or jungle,
that would have made the perceptive fray a bit more palatable.
At least the sides would have been equal
for the struggle…

But to win, one must betray holiness.
Righteous living is fools gold to that perception.
Winning is everything, the gusto of living without the trouble.
(The time needed which always seems to create problems).

The wax on my board is thin,
and winning to this wave is not that important
I’ll move cautiously forward,
be cool,
and hang ten…

JL...sitting here off of surfer's point in Ventura watching the tinfoil green wrappers with salt and the rubbersuit boys on their arrows dodging the bonebreaks..and there you were with this one...enjoyed it

I forgot what I was going to say after reading DS reply. LOL, have spent many hours at surfers point in the past, but don't remember green foil. ?
Anyway, JL, I enjoyed this read
