Sweet the bird did call
across the sunken bower.
Strong the trees grew tall,
golden the delicate flower.

Serene she sat, pale skin glowing,
full red lips ripe for kissing,
elegant sky blue dress flowing,
heartache, her love was missing.

Wind unbound her wound up hair,
blew beads of rain glistening;
to her room she did repair,
for her loves footfall she was listening.

Gentle creaks awoke her from dreaming,
he stood, her breath was fevered, shallow;
relief, she felt his warm heart beating,
returned to her safely again, as the first swallow.

Desire for nothing except desirelessness,hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes, want nothing and you will have everything.avatar Meher Baba.
