Thus far...
There is no sin.
Nor, shall there ever be !
The fall can only come from yielding to the beast...
I cannot blame this angel.
No angel is to blame.

Over abundant blessings cannot be disputed.
My cup truly overflows !
My own angel glides about my dwelling, a cherub in her arms.
He is lesser in stature but greater in innocence.
My cup runneth over .
There is nothing lacking.

Still...  The visions come...
So pleasurable in their genesis.
So wicked in their lingering.
'Tis wrong to covet another's angel !
Is she more lovely?
Is her smile more angelic?
I adore mine own angel .
To another, my heart could never belong.

But, Oh ! ... This other's smile  IS  sweet !
She is so flirtatious in flight !
Surely, she is not the angel that her lord perceives
her to be.

My heart is steady.
'Tis the Mind wherein lies the danger...
All fault lies within myself.
But, upon me, blame cannot be laid...
EGO is the monster !
The demon rears its ugly head...
Thus far...
There is no sin.
Nor, shall there  EVER  be !
The fall can only come from yielding to the beast.

The choice is my own...
No angel is to blame.

Oh yes, temptation can be so wicked...unless it involves chocolate.

Great write!

Thanks.
