Four fold that clear the clutter here
Each snapshot indigenous unto itself
Murmurs through winter spires
Encased in crystal rain

These sentinels that guard my truth
Forbear my winged thoughts
And barricade my sleeping dreams

Howling the arctic disturbances
Meet midline in tropical falls
Deafening are February canyons
Retort by whistle through chattering boughs

These sentinels that guard my truth
Forbear my winged thoughts
And barricade my sleeping dreams

Signaling to Santa Anna
As if dry humor were respite
Playfully to eastern front
Bravado fueled salty tears

These sentinels that guard my truth
Forbear my winged thoughts
And barricade my sleeping dreams

A fortress made for gods
Channels of mediocre moods
Forge along the star cut gorge
My mind escapes upon the gale

Where I am forgotten into salt

You are writing some awesome words kiddo.

Justa rollin, rollin, rollin...though the

The repetition is good, and almost
doesn't come across as repetition at all,
Kathleen.  The sound is crisp, the air is
dry.  Put the matches away...

I know the Santa Ana winds...

well done!
