"Fireball"

rage, anger, torment
Never asked for the easy path
never expected the least resistance
Just needed a certain faith
She was mine

jealous, dejected, alone
Trying to believe
you still care
you still want me
you still need my love
You still dream of waking up, to find me at your side

wrath, tension, frustration
Where are you
You're always to busy
Why do you treat me like a goldfish
you only come when I nuzzle the surface

hurt, jagged, lifeless
Given you all I can
all I am
all my love
Why can't you hold on til I can show you?

On fire, under the gun, into the well of despair
Tell me why
did you go
I never did anything to deserve this

neglected, hot, cold
Fueled with desire
I'm sorry if you feel
if that's all I am after
You know better, This love goes deeper

degraded, abanoned, thrashed
Sex and desire, is not all there is
I liked it, but it is you that I love
Still you drop me off
when you do not Feel sexy
No explanation
I am yours,
but I am not a toy

Swelling, pacing, burning, building up.
Spiralling down
into the dust
corroding to ashes
waiting for your arrival

Fireball
show me not the light, to leave me in darkness
all by myself
with nothing left to offer
All I had, is now yours
Let me know I am claimed by your sacred heart
Or light up this pyre
and let pieces fall
with the snowflakes

"I am yours,
but I am not a toy"

I have known this feeling...much emotive feeling within your words.  I hope it worked out!

Actually Martie, that was during my previous relationship, I wrote that the day after I had to remind her that our anniversary had come and gone without her noticing. I was rather annoyed.
