the heat between us is too hot to handle

that's why i'm looking for a way to get you out of your sandals

                     one night

so we can end this plight

           of us not being friends

when like Thelma & J.J., we really are

but just like a distant star

it'll take light years to convince you that it's alright for us to cruise around in your car

                        chillin'
