Drowned in my own thoughts and memories, overcome with sorrow, feelings of pain and desire full fill my inner soul, Im pulling myself further away from what i need and love, thinking its for my own good, telling myself it will get better if i hold myself back, through pain and suffering comes happiness, is it true? Will we ever be again, or are you to far away to reach? Still holding on but the grip is getting more slippery through time, i close my eyes, trusting my heart I let go, Watching you fall into the depths of the shadow, taking in the last thoughts of us and all the love we had shared, striving to hold back the tears throughout the days I watch you vanish, until my mind is refreshed, and I am brought back before we ever were |
