it’s not yet time to go
I whisper
and she graces me with her smile
    how do you know

have the stars left the night sky
has the breeze left the trees to sleep
has my heart finished its steady beat

she changes the world for me
low ivory light
haunts the air
stars claim the sky as their own
rain falls as soft tears
warm  salty
carved white mist builds a shrine to her
her hand blesses my face
her voice embraces my soul
and when it is time to go
the place where she is not
howls with emptiness

Very touching.

Love the first part most.

'it’s not yet time to go
I whisper
and she graces me with her smile
    how do you know

have the stars left the night sky
has the breeze left the trees to sleep
has my heart finished its steady beat'

And the rest too.

Yeah, when she is not around, it is
as if the sun suddenly disappeared
behind a cloud, leaving the world dark
and full of shivers.  She is the essence
in the universe, the life of the party.
I really, really love this poem.
