A pink-cheeked sunrise
Draws in ruby red
Half hushed morning
Returned from fate
An answer

Fresh air eyes
Lay low in carouse
Below the navel sway
Sending scented signals
In question

Shrugged from his shoulder
Turn away silence
A rooted foothold
Reluctantly blonde his sigh
An answer

Full bloom buttons
Turn down playful smiles
Flashing white sweet juice
Rain upon his lips
In question

Vine, wrapped ankle
Moving slowly north
Inside the delicate slope
Of gulping disbelief
An Answer

Then turned rosy side
To the watering words
Let lean gently in his arms
Grape, teased lightly on the tongue
The wine

What a beautiful vineyard of love!

I couldn't capture any
special line, for they all
lingered wonderfully!

this is a banquet
a feast of words
both delicious
and sensuous

Captivating TD. You are generous with your words.

You dazzle my senses with every word.

Love the last stanza, the sweet smell of the
swirling bouquet, and the heady taste going down.

Beautiful work, Kathleen~

I'd like to order a case of this wine, Kathleen.

Make that two.

you have a way with metaphor and your work is always delicately woven womanly.
