walking alone in the dark a lady stands with a sign alone with a basket full of her things i pass her by then i stop not much money in my pocket but i reach for what i got it could be me standing there the least i can do is share i hand her the money she gives me her blessing i move on i go back to same spot weeks later shes not there but the same amount i had given her it lay on the ground i reach down and pick it up put it in my pocket it was just what i needed you reap what you sow I do not need shine or wealth, just a pen and some paper for my health |
