from the moment i met you

     i tried to sweat you

        into perspiration

       causing a duration

of friendship unlike any other created by the United Nations

but like the U.S. and North Korea our conversation

  always ends before gentle vibrations

        of good feelings

    could send us reeling

              into bliss

                            love,

that is as ironic as it is amusing.

So true it is that many would be friendships, or even potential relationships fizzle out like relations 'tween the US and North Korea.
