where whale songs
whisper a moment’s love
in spring, summer,
winter or fall
azure color
rolls the rise
to smile
to cry
to cherish time

to worship
lilacs of the mind
impersonal,
yet,
spiritual intimacy
devotional path
of love,
indestructibly
one
small insights
of delicate waves
sensory ribbons
of youth’s charade
absorbs
consciousness
vehemently
until there is
a play of sensory
where earth & sky
dream

an ocean’s roar
to a lover’s
island world
in metaphoric prose
reflected hopes
wielding a topic
of oneness of mind
a wellness
which
is softly amplified
so sweetly nested
in utterance sublime
realms henceforth
retire things
of nothingness
within a mother’s bosom
liquid wild flowers
transforms
suffering
into teachings
focused...
undisturbed, inner peace
sails the sea
so tirelessly
like a child’s
imagination grasping
with innumerable fingers
half-hushed
infinity
feel deeply
each whisper~
each breath~
of you and me...~

of waves,
spiritualist prolific
inspiring the poet
the sea, the sea

ohhhh noon time light
which whispers
gently,
awakening emotion
the soul's final devotion
fragrance of all
thoughts profound
a thing of higher sense

the call
which penetrates
a soul,
to reason the smile

of sea, of sea
where thine
sun’s paradise
might be,
one day
waiting
with song
of ocean birds
who never long

a hundred thousand
grains of sand
blaring sounds
of airy love
in
groves
of
island
grasses
&
song

So picturesque; a melody for sea and shore.
This is beautiful poetry LJ.

I have read this several times, and I have a special fondness for whale songs--and yes there's a story behind that--but I get distracted by it, but know, dear lady, that I equate it with angels singing.

Your mind is a groovy place these days, in other words.
