As your eyelids softly cover your beautiful eyes,
And you're carried to Heaven under sleep's gentle guise,
May peace and serenity cushion your head
As stars and moonbeams dance over your bed

Love will surround you in an angel's carress
And dreams and soft music will soothe your distress
As your breathing deepends, leave reality behind
Discover all the beauty, you created to find.

And when your eyes open, please have no fear,
This embrace and this kiss, will always be here,
So fall asleep darling, knowing you're loved by me
Just as I will, knowing I'm loved by thee.

____
Sweet dreams to all you gorgeous poets and poetesses!

The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears.
