chrome in the dark
like georgia heat
evoking a timid nature
spurring me to the sea
delicate/strong oil skin
astray in an orbit of golden fringe
like a subtle balance
penetrating deeper where life
moves into all kinds of breath
when the sun falls from the sky
into an evening moon rise
wondrous vision glaring me numb
moss-covered rocks overlooking the ocean
an oddity of being fresh in early morning
filling my lungs with dream creatures
whispering….poet, my love
stirring a memory where an updraft
catches wings of worship
where caravans carry steel instinct
dressed like a merchant ship

yea, this spirit which inhabits my body
i wondered if any one else sees what i see
feeling the rumors of gemstones
fastening light to a hanging bracket
wrapping a cloak loosely around me
weaving a closer distance, hearing
footsteps in the hallways of time
twisting sideways blowing a cool
breeze on a richly carpet floor of sand
between the toes of life
love
& chambers of sun rise….

i speak and welcome water washed travels
knowing twilight skies
and the fates that held me back
now, woodland springs gesture
a song only paradise sings
a caress into the entrance puts me
by love’s side
childhood smiles while the muscles of
night fire ripples
draw me close…i beg for my lips hunger
to the core of purpose

I was talking to a dr. friend about physics and destiny and aerodynamics of trash balls when tossed from the hand..we mentioned purpose and disagreed that it had value...my point was it was needed, his was, what was the point..enjoyed this...coool

It is valiant to hunger for your purpose.
Something not too prominent in today’s society.

Beautiful write LJ.

you do have a way with words Lee, impressive
